I'm positive I can make this platform, then just spend $100 on an awesome velvet cushion. Amazing!

I just got a new book called Where Women Create, which is basically a design book filled with inspirational spaces where women create whatever it is that their inner artist dictates. But I came across this picture of a studio space that I love for all its opulence. Picture is poached, of course. I need to get better about that...

I'm sooooo loving this white, lodgy picture with the rack. Can't tell what kind of an animal it is - maybe a reindeer?

And I seriously need to make slipcovers for my dining room chairs. Seriously. The caning is getting beat up, and I don't care for the pink fabric on the seats. Good inspiration!
